I finished watching Aaron Sorkin's latest show, The Newsroom, and while I wasn't sure what to expect because of some of the reviews I've seen, I can now say that I thoroughly enjoyed it, and look forward to more.  It has the expected  quick dialogue and monologues, and covering "news" that has already happened allows us to know more than the characters, which is a neat trick.
