Shopping Trolleys
of the
San Diego Creek
I've been in California for a few years now, and one thing I've noticed is that every spring a variety of creatures migrate across the Golden State. The Newport Bay Watershed of Orange County is no exception, especially during the short storm season, and though many focus their attention on the birds, my favorite is the Shopping Trolley. Each year, during the spring rains, these creatures make their home in the San Diego Creek. This year, I got lucky and took several photos of the trolleys as they migrated. Some are heavily camouflaged, but if you look closely, you can find them.
