The Anina-Oravița Mountain Railway

The railway opened in 1863 to haul coal, and is now a tourist railway making use of railcars from the early 20th century. It passes through 14 tunnels and over 10 viaducts on the 34km route, offering scenic views of the mountains during the 2 hour trip.
